GERUSALEMME - C'è stato un ondata di attacchi palestinesi contro gli israeliani nel corso degli ultimi quattro mesi, la violenza secondo  Benjamin Netanyahu è stimolata dall'  incitamento   palestinese.
Il leader israeliano e il ministro della Pubblica sicurezza Gilad Erdan hanno mostrato ai diplomatici stranieri un breve video di spezzoni ,tratti da trasmissioni per bambini  e da  discorsi e interviste di leader palestinesi, per dimostrare che  l'Autorità palestinese sta alimentando "una cultura di odio".
Netanyahu ha   dichiarato  di aver  mostrato personalmente il video  al Segretario di Stato John F. Kerry  la settimana scorsa 
Il video di due minuti inizia con una bambina dell'Autorità Palestinese  che  in  TV sta  recitando una poesia con questi versi : "i miei giocattoli sono il rock e il fucile- Non chiedete dove sia  la mia infanzia perchè  giace sepolta sotto le rovine e ceneri. "
In un altro spezzone il conduttore televisivo per bambini Walaa Battat  chiede  a un ragazzo quali sono le terre di Palestina del 1948 ? E lui risponde :  Haifa, Jaffa, Acre e Nazareth ,  tutte città che oggi sono nello Stato d'Israele.
" Nel '48 queste terre erano nostre e  torneranno a noi, giusto?» Battat chiede il ragazzo.
Il successivo clip del 16 settembre mostra il presidente dell'Autorità palestinese Mahmoud Abbas che sta lodando i recenti attacchi. "Accogliamo con favore ogni goccia di sangue versato a Gerusalemme", dice il leader palestinese a un gruppo di attivisti. "Questo è puro sangue,  sangue pulito,  sangue  di Allah".
  Il 17 ottobre in un' intervista a Jibril Rajoub, capo del Consiglio palestinese, per lo sport e gli affari della gioventù,  afferma : "Questi sono singoli atti di coraggio,io sono orgoglioso di loro. Mi congratulo con tutti coloro che li effettuano ".
Il terzo segmento del video è problematico. Mostra bambini che leggono poesie, ma il materiale è amatoriale:  "O scimmie barbariche, O maiali miserabili, Gerusalemme non è la vostra tana," un bambino legge.
Itamar Marcus, direttore del gruppo israeliano Palestinian Media Watch, ha detto che era dispiaciuto in quanto il primo ministro ha utilizzato il testo  da fonti che non poteva identificare. "Non è stata una grande scelta," ha detto. "E 'molto frustrante per me."
Il punto, Marcus ha specificato ,che  l'incitamento, anche se  proviene da fonti ufficiali palestinesi  non è così rilevante  E' importante ciò che l'Autorità palestinese manda in onda su media che controlla.
Il governo israeliano sta lavorando duramente per mantenere l'attenzione sulla presunta istigazione palestinese, mentre l'Autorità palestinese vuole che l'attenzione sia concentrata sull' occupazione che perdura da 49 anni di Israele e  sulla continua espansione delle colonie ebraiche nelle terre palestinesi che costituiscono le basi per il  futuro stato.
Il leader palestinese Abu Mazen ha incontrato giornalisti israeliani il Sabato sera e ha smentito    l'incitamento  sottolineando che egli si impegna alla  non violenza e che la leadership palestinese vuole un accordo negoziato con Israele   mediante conflitto non armato.
Da parte loro i palestinesi affermano che è Israele a provocare e a incitare all'odio espropriando  terre, sparando ai manifestanti e demolendo  case.
"Abbiamo finora prevenuto il terrorismo nel nostro territorio e in Israele", ha detto Abbas ai giornalisti israeliani. «Che cosa  avverrà domani, non lo so."

Israel’s Netanyahu blames children’s shows for Palestinian terror

 There’s been a wave of Palestinian attacks against Israelis over the last four months, violence that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says is spurred by incitement from Palestinian officialdom.
The Israeli leader and Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan have been showing foreign diplomats a short video of clips taken from kiddie shows, alongside speeches and interviews by Palestinian leaders, that the Israelis say is evidence the Palestinian Authority is stoking “a culture of hate.”
Netanyahu said he personally showed the video posted here to Secretary of State John F. Kerry last week at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
The two-minute video begins with a little girl on Palestinian Authority TV reciting a poem that includes the lines “my toys are the rock and the rifle,” though it does not include the later lines, “Ask not where my childhood is, for it lies buried beneath ruins and ashes.”
In another bite, kiddie TV host Walaa Battat of the show “Children’s Talk” asks a young lad what are the 1948 lands of Palestine? And he says Haifa, Jaffa, Acre and Nazareth — all cities that today are in the State of Israel.
“The ’48 lands are all ours and will return to us, right?” Battat prompts the boy.
Next up is a clip from Sept. 16 showing Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas seemingly praising the recent attacks. “We welcome every drop of blood spilled in Jerusalem,” says the Palestinian leader to a group of activists. “This is pure blood, clean blood, blood on its way to Allah."
Then there is an Oct. 17 interview with Jibril Rajoub, head of the Palestinian Council for Sport and Youth Affairs, who says, “These are individual acts of bravery, and I am proud of them. I congratulate everyone who carried them out.”
The sourcing for the third segment of the video is problematic. It shows children reading poems, but the camera work is amateurish. “O barbaric apes, O wretched pigs, Jerusalem is not your den,” one kid reads.
Itamar Marcus, director of the Israeli group Palestinian Media Watch, said he was sorry the prime minister used the ape poem from sources he could not identify. “It was not a great choice,” he said. “It is very frustrating for me.”
The point, Marcus said, is that the incitement comes from official Palestinian sources — it is not so relevant what ordinary Palestinian kids say, but what the Palestinian Authority airs on media outlets it controls.
The Israeli government is working hard to keep the focus on alleged Palestinian incitement, while the Palestinian Authority wants the focus to remain on Israel’s 49-year military occupation and the continued expansion of Jewish settlements on land the Palestinians want for a future state.
Palestinian leader Abbas met with Israeli journalists on Saturday evening and repeated earlier denials of incitement. Abbas has stressed that he is committed to nonviolence and that the Palestinian leadership wants a negotiated settlement with Israel, not armed conflict.
For their part, the Palestinians say that the real inciter is Israel, which expropriates land, shoots protesters and demolishes homes.
“We prevent terrorism in our territory and prevent the spillover of terrorism into Israel,” Abbas told the Israeli reporters. “What will be tomorrow, I don’t know.”
