Netanyahu’s real crime: plundering land for settlers In response to the Feb. 13 police announcement of  sufficient evidence to indict Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of bribery and breach of trust, Education Minister Naftali Bennett said, “Receiving gifts so extensively for so long does not meet the expectations of the citizenry of the State of Israel.” Polls conducted since then suggest that Bennett is wrong. According to a survey by the pollster Yossi Sarid for Reshet TV, although only 29% of Israelis surveyed believe the prime minister is innocent, more Israelis  want him to stay  in office than want him to resign or take time off, 49% versus 43% respectively. Sintesi personale Il ministro della Cooperazione regionale israeliana Tzachi Hanegbi ha detto domenica mattina che "Israele è l'unico paese al mondo che ha ucciso iraniani per due anni".  Parlando in un'intervista alla radio Kan Bet sull'escalation delle tensioni con Teheran, Hanegbi ha aggiunto che Israele "colpisce gli iraniani centinaia di volte in Siria, a volte lo ammette e, talvolta ,rapporti stranieri lo rivelano. Alla domanda "cosa succederebbe se Israele dovesse avere dei problemi con l'Iran", alla luce di ciò che l'intervistatore ha definito "la cauta risposta dell'America allo scontro tra Gran Bretagna e Teheran ", ha risposto  : "Gli iraniani sono molto limitati nelle loro risposte, e non è perché non hanno abilità,ma  perché capiscono che Israele fa sul serio. Engineering a Jewish majority by driving out Palestinians. This has been Israel's policy ever since the occupation began and East Jerusalem was annexed. Israel has devised legal excuses to gradually empty East Jerusalem of Palestinians. It refuses to draft zoning plans that would allow construction. So, just to have a roof over their heads,Palestinians are forced to build without permits. The authorities then demolish their homes for being built "unlawfully." Since 2004, Israel has demolished at least 848 Palestinian homes in East Jerusalem. At least 2,960 people, including 1,596 children, have lost their homes.
