B'Tselem Video : Hebron ha 16 anni. Gli sparano alle gambe. Trasportato come un sacco di patate. Picchiato.
Un video davvero impressionante.
Siamo a Hebron, il 9 agosto scorso. I soldati israeliani sparano alle gambe ad un sedicenne due volte, la prima con un proiettile rivestito di gomma e la seconda con uno vero, e decidono di portarlo al checkpoint più vicino, trasportandolo come un sacco di patate e tenendolo per una gamba che poi all’ospedale risulterà fratturata. Al checkpoint il giovane verrà picchiato e insultato, prima di consentire finalmente che venga condotto in ospedale.
Al di là dei quotidiani assassinii di civili innocenti, che a malapena arrivano ai giornali, di questa che è la brutale routine dell’occupazione israeliana nessuno viene a sapere niente, ma a nessuno comunque importerebbe in israele. E fuori dallo stato ebraico sono tanti, troppi, quelli che trovano conveniente voltarsi dall’altra parte…
This teenager, whom the soldiers are carrying here as if he were a sack and not an injured person, was later diagnosed at the hospital with a live bullet wound to the left calf and a bone fracture and required surgery. But after they shot him twice in the leg – once with a rubber coated metal bullet and once with live fire – the soldiers carried him like this, including from his wounded and broken leg, with his back hitting the ground, to a checkpoint, where he says they cursed, shouted, kicked, and beat him. This is not an exceptional case but part of a violent routine well known to all Palestinians residents of Hebron.
