On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, 24-25 May 2022, dozens of settlers threw stones at a mosque and at a home in the eastern neighborhood of the village. They attacked one of the houses there with stones, opened the gate to the mosque and smashed one of its windows, and also smashed the windows of a bulldozer belonging to one of the residents. The settlers threw stones at the school and broke 17 solar panels on its roof. The soldiers escorting them fired live shots and tear gas canisters at young men from the village who tried to drive the settlers away by throwing stones.
A young man from the village was wounded during the clashes and treated at the local clinic.
