• Israele sostiene che il giovane stava effettuando un attacco con un coltello contro agenti di polizia  quando è stato ucciso alla Porta di Damasco della città vecchia di Gerusalemme.
• Ma il video  indica che il giovane non costituiva una minaccia immediata per la vita di nessuno quando una massiccia forza letale è stata utilizzata contro di lui.
• Il video  mostra che  l'uomo, colpito, cade a terra. Poi molti altri agenti sparano decine di proiettili contro di lui e allontanano in fretta i passanti:

• Al Jazeera ha  riferito ad  al Ma'an News Agency che "sei ufficiali israeliani  hanno circondato  il il palestinese e 'sparato quasi 50 proiettili' dopo che lui era già stato colpito due volte ed era  caduto a terra ".
• Un portavoce della polizia israeliana ha detto a Ma'an che le forze israeliane hanno aperto il fuoco contro il giovane,dopo che aveva accoltellato  due  agenti che sono stati leggermente feriti 
• Media palestinesi hanno riferito che un terzo palestinese è stato ferito per le schegge  ed è stato portato in ospedale per il trattamento.

  Il giovane ucciso di 20 anni è  Muhammad Abu Khalaf dalla città di Kufr Aqab 

• Due palestinesi sono stati uccisi  Domenica dopo un presunto attacco armato contro polizia di frontiera e altri tre giovani sono stati uccisi due settimane prima durante un incidente simile.
• Le forze israeliane hanno ucciso due palestinesi Venerdì.
• Khaled Yousif Taqatqa, 21, è stato ucciso durante gli  scontri tra manifestanti e l'esercito israeliano nel villaggio di Beit Fajjar vicino alla città cisgiordana di Betlemme.
• La Mezzaluna Rossa Palestinese ha detto a  Ma'an News Agency che ai  medici è stato impedito di curare il giovane e che egli è morto per le ferite in un ospedale di Gerusalemme.
• E nel villaggio cisgiordano di Silwad, vicino a Ramallah, le forze israeliane hanno ucciso un palestinese che avrebbe tentato di speronare loro con l' auto.

• L'uomo ucciso è stato identificato dai media palestinesi come Abed Raed Hamad, 22 anni,  studente presso l'Università di Birzeit

• Le forze israeliane hanno ucciso altri due palestinesi in Silwad lo scorso dicembre,che presubilmente stavano conducendo attacchi  di auto-speronamento.
• Inchieste giornalistiche e un gruppo per i diritti umani suggeriscono che , Mahdia Hammad, non stava tentando un attacco e stava cercando di tornare a casa per nutrire il suo bambino quando i soldati hanno aperto il fuoco contro di lei.
• Intanto a Washington  il Dipartimento di Stato ha condannato un attacco in un insediamento in Cisgiordania   dove   un cittadino statunitense è stato ferito a morte.
• Il quotidiano di Tel Aviv Haaretz ha riferito che Tuvya Weisman, che viveva con la moglie e la figlia piccola in insediamento Maaleh Micmas, era un soldato di Israele Nahal Brigade ed era fuori servizio quando è stato accoltellato e un altro israeliano è stato moderatamente ferito.

• I due aggressori palestinesi, Omar Rimawi e Ayham Subih, entrambi di 14 anni , sono stati feriti da un passante e sono segnalati  in condizioni gravi ma stabili negli ospedali di Gerusalemme.

• Documentation of a Friday stabbing attack at Jerusalem's Old City in which two Border Police officers were lightly wounded shows that the assailant was shot many times by Israeli officers, even after he already lay on the ground, before succumbing to his wounds.
• The attacker, 20-year-old Mohammad Abu Khalaf from Kafr Aqab in East Jerusalem, arrived at the Damascus Gate where he was checked by a Border Police force stationed there. According to assessments, he equipped himself with a knife in the Old City and then returned to the gate to attack the security forces. Upon his return, he charged one of the offices with the knife and stabbed him in the head.
• "I managed to push him off and moved aside so the other officers could shoot him," he said. Another officer began wrestling Abu Khalaf and sustained a wound to his hand. At this stage, policemen managed to shoot him and the Palestinian fell to the ground.
• A television crew from Al Jazeera was present at the scene and filmed the subsequent shooting. In the video, the officers can be seen firing a number of bullets at Abu Khalaf. The shooting continues for a number of seconds, and the officers can be seen shooting at their attacker even after he is on the ground. A 50-year-old Palestinian woman who was nearby was lightly wounded after being hit by errant fire.

• Border Police commander Deputy Commissioner Yaakov Shabtai praised the officers: "You acted with bravery and I salute you. I am proud of your professionalism. The speed of your response and its accuracy are what ended this terror attack within seconds."
• On Saturday, a Palestinian youth was arrested in the Old City's Damascus Gate after attempting to stab a police officer. No one was injured in the incident, which began when the forces approached the 18-year-old, who then pulled a knife and was immediately overtaken and arrested.
