violazione" dell'accordo di cessate il
fuoco. Il “trattenuto” portavoce americano ha usato la parola
"barbarico" per la prima volta in questa guerra.
Niente altro è stato considerato barbarico. Non il bombardamento israeliano che ha colpito due giorni prima il mercato affollato di Shujaiyeh uccidendo 17 persone e ferendone 150 al culmine di un altro cessate il fuoco, non il colpo di cannone che è caduto su una scuola dell'UNRWA in cui c'erano 3.000 rifugiati, non il bombardamento della stazione di polizia a Gaza, il bombardamento dell'università, la bomba lanciata da questi ottimi piloti Israel Air Force contro un'abitazione di quattro piani a Khan Yunis, senza preavviso, uccidendo 35 persone, tra cui 18 bambini e otto donne: a quanto pare, il bombardamento più mortale a Gaza di sempre.
Solo il rapimento e l'uccisione di due soldati. Questo è un portavoce americano afflitto da razzismo; "barbarie" è riservata a un solo lato. Sì, Hamas è noto per la sua barbarie, come lo sono tutti i palestinesi, e la definizione di quella barbarie ha finalmente condotto Whashington tra le altre imprese istraeliane di pubbliche relazioni.
Ma la verità è che questa guerra è stata barbarica da quando è cominciata....

Not the Israeli shell that landed two days earlier on Shujaiyeh’s crowded market killing 17 people and wounding 150 at the height of another cease-fire, not the shell that fell on an UNRWA school where 3,000 refugees were hiding, not the bombing of the Gaza power station, the bombing of the university, the bomb dropped by those excellent Israel Air Force pilots on a four-story dwelling in Khan Yunis without warning, killing 35, including 18 children and eight women – apparently the most deadly bombing in Gaza ever.
Only the abduction and the killing of two soldiers. This is an American spokesman also afflicted with racism; “barbarity” is preserved only for one side. Yes, Hamas is known for its barbarity, as are all the Palestinians, and word of that barbarity has finally reached Washington in another Israeli public-relations feat.
But the truth is that this war has been barbaric since it started.
