Rabbis for Human Rights : bruciato il grano appena raccolto a Susya.

Breaking the Silence reporting that 3 tons of wheat recently harvested was found burned to ashes near Susya.
Reminder: The Jewish practice of bal tashchit forbids the senseless destruction of food, livestock, crops etc. We will likely never know who committed this crime, but chances are they will claim they did it in the name of Judaism. But what Judaism are they talking about? Clearly it is a different one from ours.

A picture we took this morning next to the Susia junction, in the South Hebron Hills. 3 tons of wheat that was collected by hand during a whole week was torched and burned to ashes. A whole years crop was set on fire and destroyed in another violent act intended to discourage and drive out the local Palestinian resident As soldiers we have witnessed countless incidents of sabotage of Palestinian property, in this case we have no idea who's responsible and we have no doubt the police will yet again overlook this incident.
