B'Tselem : demolizione di case palestinesi , scuole ,cliniche e strutture nell'area C
On Tuesday, we showed how the Israeli authorities use various excuses to prevent, in advance, any Palestinian construction and development in about 70% of Area C, in the West Bank. If you thought that Palestinians would be allowed to use the remaining 30% of land for those needs, think again.
The Civil Administration does not recognize most of the Palestinian villages in Area C – most of which have existed since before 1967 – and refuses to prepare master plans for them nor authorize master plans that the villages themselves have submitted. Consequently, the Administration refuses to connect the villages to networks and does not allow them to build houses and public buildings such as medical clinics and schools. The residents are left no choice but to build without permits, knowing that a bulldozer could come at any moment and demolish it all: homes, barns for flocks that are their source of income, schools and medical clinics, leaving the families of the village with no shelter, under an open sky.

For 20 years now, the West Bank has not been a single entity. What was supposed to be only a temporary arrangement under the Oslo Accords is still in place: islands under Palestinian control (Areas A + B) surrounded by the remaining 60% of the West Bank, which are under Israeli control (Area C). Sintesi personaleMartedì scorso, abbiamo mostrato come le autorità israeliane usano varie scuse per evitare , in anticipo , ogni costruzione e sviluppo palestinese in circa il 70 % dell'Area C , in Cisgiordania . Se pensavate che ai palestinesi sarebbe stato concesso di utilizzare il restante 30 % dei terreni , ripensateciL' Amministrazione Civile non riconosce la maggior parte dei villaggi palestinesi in Area C - la maggior parte delle quali esistevano fin prima del 1967 , si rifiuta di preparare i piani regolatori per loro né autorizza piani regolatori presentati dai residenti dei villaggi. Di conseguenza , l'amministrazione si rifiuta di collegare i villaggi alle reti e non permette loro di costruire case ed edifici pubblici come cliniche e scuole .
