During the fighting in Gaza 2014 B’Tselem cautioned against the predictable lethal consequences of the Israeli military’s open-fire policy, which included air strikes on homes that killed many civilians who were not taking part in the hostilities. Decision makers continued to apply this policy, in spite of these results, making them fully responsible – both morally and legally – for the extreme harm to civilians.

  The Palestinian Authority is thwarting the activities of a real estate company after its owner publicly criticized Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Seven weeks ago, the Palestinian Land Authority suspended the processing of a project for registering and parceling private land purchased by the Palestinian-Canadian Sabawi family.
