Christmas Eve, & the world turns its gaze to Bethlehem. For Palestinians, however, Israel's apartheid occupation is an all year long reality.
*In the Bethlehem area alone, there are 30+ physical obstacles to Palestinian freedom of movement, imposed by Israeli occupation forces.
*Israel has also expropriated & colonised Bethlehem's land - the city is surrounded by illegal settlements (blue in the map).
*Meanwhile, the route of Israel's Apartheid Wall - illegal, according to the ICJ in The Hague - takes in approx. 10% of the Bethlehem region's land.
*85% of Bethlehem governorate is 'Area C' (total Israeli control). Palestinians can 'legally' build in 1% of Area C.

Netanyahu’s real crime: plundering land for settlers In response to the Feb. 13 police announcement of  sufficient evidence to indict Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of bribery and breach of trust, Education Minister Naftali Bennett said, “Receiving gifts so extensively for so long does not meet the expectations of the citizenry of the State of Israel.” Polls conducted since then suggest that Bennett is wrong. According to a survey by the pollster Yossi Sarid for Reshet TV, although only 29% of Israelis surveyed believe the prime minister is innocent, more Israelis  want him to stay  in office than want him to resign or take time off, 49% versus 43% respectively. Sollevo la questione  dopo l'intervento di  Oren , un membro della   Knesset   in Christian Allies Caucus:   se Gesù fosse  vivo oggi, sarebbe stato visto come un colono ebreo in Cisgiordania .     Infatti Oren ha detto in un discorso citato dal Jerusalem Post .   "Gesù, Maria e Giovanni Battista sarebbero  oggi  considerati coloni ebrei a Betlemme.
