Palestina: si scatena la violenza dei settler contro i palestinesi e contro gli attivisti per la raccolta delle ulive

"The Palestinians complained that the settlers kept bothering them with their farming and wouldn’t let them get to their grazing areas with their sheep. The left-wingers came to support the Palestinians and went with them to the grazing areas, while the Jews called the army to get the Palestinians away from there, because they were getting too close to the settlement (...) the more serious ones involved a patrol moving the Palestinians from a certain area, and once or twice we arrested left-wing activists because they were in a closed military zone, which is forbidden."

As soldiers we also found ourselves compelled to stand idly by as settlers attacked Palestinian residents and peace activists. This is what happens when your job description is to defend settlers/perpetrators.

 I palestinesi si sono lamentati che i coloni   non permettevano loro    di portare al pascolo le pecore. Attivisti sono intervenuti recandosi con loro  nelle aree di pascolo, mentre gli ebrei chiamavanol'esercito per mandarli via  perchè troppo vicino agli insediamenti (...)I settler impunemente hanno attaccato i residenti palestinesi e gli  attivisti per la pace. Breaking the Silence

As the olive harvest began this week, we have already seen price tag attacks on Palestinian olive groves. As soldiers, we have witnessed countless attacks like these but were unable to prevent them. In face of loss of livelihood, and the violent potential these attacks possess, our inability as security forces in the area to stop and prevent these actions proves the impotence of the army against settler actions.

la  raccolta delle olive è iniziata questa settimana, così gli attacchi contro gli  uliveti palestinesi  e  l'impotenza dell'esercito .

3  Guy Butavia hOperazione Colomba: Il 10 ottobre,un cane appartenente ad una famiglia palestinese del villaggio di Um al Kher, è stato ferito .
Secondo testimoni palestinesi nelle prime ore del mattino un pastore pascolava il suo gregge con il cane, quando hanno sentito un colpo di pistola proveniente dalla colonia israeliana di Karmel. Dopo alcuni minuti il cane è tornato al villaggio, con una ferita da proiettile.
I palestinesi di Um al Kher hanno  chiamato la polizia israeliana per lamentarsi della situazione

Palestinian woman hospitalized after being beaten with a stick while harvesting olives in Kfar Yassuf. Two suspects, reportedly from the settlement Tupuah, one of whom is a minor, were detained.

Sette coloni dell'insediamento da Tapuach in Samaria attaccano una famiglia palestinese intenta alla raccolta delle olive nel proprio podere sparandole addosso con fucili e pistole. Una donna anziana e' rimasta ferita, ma non ci sono state vittime. La polizia, che ha definito l'episodio "molto grave", ha individuato i colpevoli e per ora ne ha arrestati un paio (Walla).
