Migliaia di fronte alla morte imminente a causa della mancanza di accesso alle necessità di base durante la guerra civile
Altri nove bambini, di cui 4 neonati, sono morti per il freddo, la Rete siriana per i diritti umani ha annunciato venerdì.
I medici della regione avvertono che il peggioramento delle condizioni
meteorologiche potrebbe portare a più morti, dato che la mancanza di
accesso ai beni di prima necessità ha lasciato migliaia di fronte alla
morte imminente. L’opposizione siriana ha emesso un appello urgente di
aiuto alle istituzioni internazionali.
La nazione mediorientale sfida il freddo invernale per la terza volta durante la guerra civile iniziata nel marzo 2011.
Più di 100.000 persone sono state uccise in più di tre anni di conflitto
in Siria e oltre due milioni di siriani sono ora registrati come
rifugiati nei paesi vicini, Turchia, Libano e Iraq, secondo le Nazioni
Unite.

lack of access to basic necessities has left thousands facing imminent
death. The Syrian opposition issued an urgent call for help to
international institutions.
The Middle Eastern nation braves the wintry cold for a third time during the civil war which began in March 2011.
More than 100,000 people
have been killed in the more than three-year old conflict in Syria and
over two million Syrians are now registered as refugees in neighboring
countries, Turkey. Lebanon and Iraq, according to the UN.
